Description : মেটে হাঁড়িচাচা ধূসর, বাদামী এবং কালো রং মিশ্রিত পাখি যার একটি দীর্ঘ লম্বা লেজ, কালো কানের আচ্ছাদন এবং ধূসর বর্ণের কপাল আছে। এর নীচের অংশগুলি ধূসর বর্ণের। এদের চঞ্চু ও পা কালো। উভয় লিঙ্গ একইরকম দেখায়। কিশোরীর সরু কালো কপাল,ফ্যাকাশে গলা,বাদামী মুকুট এবং সাদা রঙের উদর লক্ষ্যনীয় থাকে। এরা গাছপালা বন, চাষকৃত এলাকা এবং মানুষের বসতি সহ বিভিন্ন আবাসস্থলে বাস করে এবং গাছে থাকতে পছন্দ করে। এর খাদ্যে পোকামাকড়, আঙ্গুর, ফলের রস, শস্য, বীজ, ছোট সরীসৃপ আছে। এরা ডিম পাড়ে এবং বাসা তৈরি করে।
