Description : পোয়া মাছ ছোট থেকে মাঝারি আকৃতির শরীর বিশিষ্ট। এদের শরীরের উপর অংশ ধূসর অথবা বাদামি সাথে শরীরের দৈর্ঘ্য বরাবর একটি সাদা রেখা আছে। এদের পাখনায় হলদেটে ছটা রয়েছে। এরা সাধারণত নদীর উপকূলে, মোহনায় বাস করে।
