Description : কালা পোয়া মাছের অঙ্কীয় পাশ পৃষ্ঠের থেকে বেশি উত্তল হয়ে থাকে। এদের চোখ বড় এবং চিবুকে পাঁচটি লোমকূপ থাকে। এই মাছের শরীর রুপালি আর পৃষ্ঠ সবুজাভ ধূসর রঙের হয়। এদের পৃষ্ঠের পাখনার উপর পাশ বিন্দু দ্বারা চিহ্নিত করা থাকে। এ প্রজতির মাছ নদী উপকূলে ও মোহনায় পাওয়া যায়।
