Description : নীল কপাল গিরদি একটি ছোট অতিথি পাখি যার পুরুষ পাখি স্ত্রী পাখির চেয়ে আলাদা।পুরুষ লম্বায় প্রায় ১৫ সেমি,ওজনে ১৭ গ্রাম,পাখা ৯সেমি,ঠোট ১।৭ সেমি,টারসাস ২.৫ সেমি,লেজ ৭ সেমি।স্ত্রী পাখির পাখা ৮সেমি,ঠোট ১.৫ সেমি,টারসাস ২.২ সেমি,লেজ ৬.৭ সেমি।পুরুষ পাখির পিঠ নীল পেট বাদামি কমলা।এর কপাল,পাখা,গলা,বুক নীল।এর পেট ,কোমর কমলা।এটার প্রশস্ত লেজের শেষে কালো দাগ রয়েছে।স্ত্রী পাখি দেখতে গাঢ় বাদামি পিঠ ও কমলা বাদামি পেট যুক্ত।এর লালচে কমলা কোমর ও হালকা কমলা পেট ও পায়ু রয়েছে।এরা পোকা-মাকড়,বীজ ও আঙুর জাতীয় ফল খেয়ে থাকে।এরা মে-আগস্ট মাসে প্রজনন করে ।
