Description : ধলাটুপি পানি গিরদি একটি লক্ষণীয় সাদা টুপি ও সুন্দর লালচে পাখার মতো লেজযুক্ত ছোট অতিথি পাখি।এরা লম্বায় প্রায় ১৩সেমি,ওজনে ৩৩.৫ সেমি,পাখা ৯.৪ সেমি, ঠোট ১.৮ সেমি, টারসাস ৩.৩ সেমি,লেজ ৭.৫ সেমি।এটা দেখতে প্রায় সম্পূর্ণ কালো ও লালচে।এর একটি সাদা টুপিযুক্ত কালচে নীল মাথা রয়েছে।বুক,পিঠ, পাখা সম্পূর্ণ কালো।এর বুকের নীচের অংশ,কোমর,পেট লালচে এবং শেষ প্রান্তে প্রশস্ত কালো ডোরাযুক্ত লালচে পাখার মতো প্রশস্ত লেজ রয়েছে।এর ঠোট কালো,চোখের পাতা গাঢ় বাদামি,পা ও পায়ের পাতা কালচে বাদামি।এরা পোকা মাকড় ও আঙ্গুর জাতীয় ফল খায়।এরা হিমালয়ে মার্চ-আগস্ট প্রজনন করে।
