Description : The body of Deep Sea Cod is robust and more or less elongated with strongly tapering and compressed tail.All body and head covered by small cycloid deciduous scales.Snout broad and obtuse with a terminal mouth.Appeared as light pinkish-brown with silvery-sheen.Belly,throat and gill membranes are black with scarlet fins.
