Description : Body of Asiatic Snakehead is cylindrical anteriorly and somewhat compressed posteriorly.Mouth large.Large plate like scales present on the head.Lateral line bears 42-45 scales.Body dark brown and grey above.Caudal fin rounded.Dorsal,caudal and pectoral fins with narrow blood red margin.
