Description : The slender worm snake, scientifically known as Indotyphlops porrectus, is a harmless species of blind snake. They are small and have a slender body, reaching a maximum total length of 28.5 cm (11.2 in) with a diameter of about 0.5 cm (0.20 in). They have 18 scale rows around their body and are typically brown or blackish on their dorsal side, with a paler ventral side. The snout, chin, and anal region are white in color.
