Description : Flathead sillago got an elongated and partly cylindrical body which has an elongated and depressed head.Coloration of them shows greenish-yellow above and pale whitish below.They got small terminal mouth and ctenoid scales covering the whole body.Upper lobe of their caudal is elongated.This species is commonly located in shallow, open bays, and estuaries along the coast, preferring silty or muddy substrates. Juveniles typically move to the upper estuary areas for protection from larger predators.
