Habitat : সামুদ্রিক,মিঠা জল ঝোলা জল এবং প্রবালপ্রাচীর সংযুক্ত।
Description : এ জাতীয় ইল মাছের শরীরের উপরিভাগের রঙ হয় ধূসর বাদামী এবং নিম্মভাগ হয় হাল্কা বর্ণের থাকে। তাদের শরীর আঁশছাড়া হয় ও সমানভাবে সম্প্রসারিত থাকে। এর শরীরের সামনের দিকে সিলিন্ডার আকৃতির হয়। এর লেজের দিকে সংকুচিত এবং মুখ হয় অনেক বড় হয়। এরা মিঠা পানিতে থাকে।
