Habitat : সামুদ্রিক পৃষ্ঠীয় জল,সামুদ্রিক এবং উপকূলীয় অঞ্চল।
Description : এই থুরিস প্রজাতির লম্বাটে মাছের শরীর হয় সিলিন্ডারের মতো এবং প্রস্থচ্ছেদে হয় গোলাকার।এর শরীর লেজের দিকের অংশে পাশাপাশি সমতল থাকে। এর দেহের উপরিভাগ ও নিম্মভাগের অংশে এদেরকে নীলাভ থেকে রূপালী রঙে দেখা যায়। এর পাখনাগুলোতে সাধারণত গাড় বর্ণের আবির্ভাব লক্ষণীয়।
