Description : কইকরকা মাছের দেহ নলাকার হয়। এর মধ্য দিয়ে কিছুটা চাপা থাকে।মুখ অর্ধচন্দ্রাকার হতে পারে এবং এটি মাছের অঙ্কীয়তলে অবস্থান করে। এদের ঠোঁট সুগঠিত নয়। এদের তুন্ড কৌণিক এবং তীক্ষ্ণ থাকে। এদের ৩ জোড়া বার্বেল উপস্থিত যার মধ্যে ২ জোড়া রোস্ট্রাল এবং ১ জোড়া ম্যাক্সিলারি বার্বেল হয়। এদের দেহের বর্ণ হলুদ আভাযুক্ত হয়।
