Description : বড় খোঁপা ডুবুরি ধূসর রঙের পাখি। এদের ২ টি কান ঝুঁটি/ খোঁপা আছে।(পূর্ণ বয়স্ক পাখির দৈর্ঘ্য প্রায় ৫০ সেমি. ডানা প্রায় ২০ সেমি. পর্যন্ত হতে পারে) এদের ঠোঁট গাঢ় বাদামি, ঠোঁটের আগা কিছুটা ফিকে। বাদামি-কালো যে দুটি খোঁপা থাকে সেগুলো প্রজননকালে লালচে-কমলা রঙের হয়। এদের প্রজননকাল জুন-অগাস্ট। এটি প্রধানত মাছ খায়, তবে ছোট ক্রাস্টেসিয়ান, পোকামাকড়, ছোট ব্যাঙ এবং গোসাপও খায়।
