Description : জর্ডানের ঝাড়ফিদ্দা কালো পিঠযুক্ত ছোট অতিথি পাখি।এরা লম্বায় প্রায় ১৫ সেমি,পাখা ৬.৬ সেমি,ঠোট ১সেমি,টারসাস ২.৩ সেমি,লেজ ৬.৫ সেমি।পুরুষ পাখি দেখতে স্ত্রী পাখির চেয়ে আলাদা।পুরুষ পাখির কানের দুইপাশ,পাখা,কোমর লেজসহ পিঠ চকচকে নীলাভ কালো,এবং গলার নিচ থেকে পায়ু পর্যন্ত সাদা।স্ত্রী পাখি পিঠের দিকে লালচে বাদামি আর পেটের দিকে ফ্যাকাশে বাদামি পালকযুক্ত।এর কোমড় ও লেজের দুইপাশ লালচে,গাল ও গলা সাদা,এবং বুক ও পেটের দুইপাশ পিঙ্গল বর্ণের ।উভয় লিঙ্গের পাখির অপেক্ষাকৃত লম্বা গোলাকার প্রান্ত বিশিষ্ট আলাদা ধরনের লেজ রয়েছে।এরা মূলত পোকা-মাকড় খেয়ে থাকে।এরা পূর্ব ভারতের কাছে তৃণভূমি অঞ্চলে ফেব্রুয়ারি-মে মাসে প্রজনন করে । এরা বাসা নির্মাণের জন্য উপযুক্ত ফাঁপা-বহনকারী গাছ আছে উন্মুক্ত বনাঞ্চলে থাকে। এগুলিকে গাছের খালি ডালে উঁচু জায়গায় দেখা যায়। এই উঁচু অবস্থান থেকে, তারা বাজপাখির মতো মধ্য-বাতাসে পোকামাকড় ধরার জন্য দ্রুত নিচে নেমে আসে।
