Description : লাল চান্দি ফুতকি একটি লাল চান্দি বিশিষ্ট ছোট হলুদাভ-সবুজ পাখি। এরা লম্বায় প্রায় ১০ সেমি,ওজনে ৫.৩ গ্রাম,পাখা ৫সেমি,ঠোট ১.১ সেমি, টারসাস ১.৭ সেমি,লেজ ৩.৭ সেমি।এর পাখা হলুদ ডোরা যুক্ত এছাড়া সম্পূর্ণ পৃষ্ঠ জলপাই সবুজ,উজ্জল হালকা হলুদ পায়ু ও সূক্ষ্ম সাদা অন্তঃ ডোরা যুক্ত লেজের বাইরের পালক।এর কালো রেখাঙ্কিত ঝুটির দুইপাশ ও গ্রীবা ও একটি লালচে ঝুটি আছে। পাখার আবরন, গলা, বুকের ওপরের অংশ এবং কানের দুইপাশ ধূসর,গ্রীবার দুইপাশে সাদা ছিটযুক্ত।এর বুকের নিচের অংশ ও পেট সাদা এবং পেটের দুইপাশ ও পায়ু উজ্জ্বল হলুদ।চোখ গাঢ় বাদামি চারপাশে সাদা ।এর ফ্যাকাশে ধূসর পা,পায়ের পাতা ও ঙ্খর দেখ যায়।ঠোট দুই রঙয়ের কালচে বাদামি ওপরের ঠোট এবং হলুদাভ বাদামি নীচের ঠোট।পুরুষ ও স্ত্রী পাখি দেখতে একই রকম।এরা প্রধানত পোকা খায় এবং প্রায়ই শূন্যে লাফিয়ে পোকা ধরে।এরা ভারতের দক্ষিন পূর্বে এপ্রিল-জুন মাসে প্রজুনন করে।
