Description : ঝালর প্রজাপতির শরীরের রং বাদামি।পুরুষ প্রজাপতির ক্ষেত্রে অগ্র ডানার উপর পাশ তামাটে রঙের হয়।অগ্র ডানার বাইরের দুই-তৃতীয়াংশ কালো এবং এতে তেরছা সাদা রেখা আছে।উভয় ডানায় কিছু কালো চিহ্ন আর প্রান্তে সাদা V আকারের দাগ থাকে।ডানার নিচের পাশে কালো চিহ্ন আর বিভিন্ন রঙের রেখা আছে।স্ত্রী প্রজাপতির ডানার উপরের পাশ ফ্যাকাশে সবুজাভ সাদা আর চিহ্ন সব পুরুষ প্রজাপতির মত।ডানার নিচের পাশও পুরুষ প্রজাপতির মত দেখতে কিন্তু একটু ফ্যাকাশে। গুল্মজাতীয় উদ্ভিদ, ছোট গাছপালা আছে এমন বনে থাকে।
