Description : দেহের সম্মুখভাগ প্রায় নলাকার এবং পশ্চাৎ ভাগ সংকুচিত। জিহবা তীক্ষ্ণ। পুচ্ছ পাখনা গোলাকার পার্শ্বীয় রেখায় ৪০-৪১ টি আঁইশ আছে।পিছনের ভাগ ধূসরে বর্ণের এবং নিচের অংশ কিছুটা উজ্জ্বল। শ্রোণি পাখনা বুকের কাছেই অবস্থিত।
