Description : Tomato Hind fish has got stout and compressed body covered with small ctenoid scales.Cycloid scales are seen on head and ctenoid scales on body.Body color ranges from orange-red to reddishbrown often with scattered small white blotches. Head shows purplish and reddish-brown color with numerous close-set orange-red spots.Fins are present with dusky appearance.
